How this guide works

Prices come from Locations Hawaii analysis of Oahu MLS sales for the 12 months through September 2026 (published October 5, 2026).

Rental rules come from county rules and our Oahu condo directory. Hazards link to our Hawaii flood zone lookup, which checks any address against FEMA and state hazard maps.

We cover every area the same way. The guide doesn’t rate neighborhoods or describe who lives in them; it sticks to prices, rules, land, hazards and schools so you can judge what fits.

Not sure where to look?

Tell us your budget, how you’ll use the place and what matters to you, and we’ll walk you through the areas that fit.
