Ringing in 2025 With These Top New Year’s Eve Celebrations in Hawaii
As the countdown to the new year begins, we’re excited to share the top New Year’s Eve celebrations in Hawaii. Whether you’re planning a vacation to the Aloha State or already a local, there’s no better place to celebrate the start of a new year. From stunning beachfront fireworks displays to decadent dining and luau dinner shows, we’ve got you covered with our expert guide to ring in 2025 in style.
Oahu
Oahu is set to host not one, but two fireworks shows to mark the start of the new year. Begin the night with a special dinner at one of Waikiki’s many restaurants, and then head to Waikiki Beach to enjoy the annual fireworks show. For a dinner and show experience, consider one of the several luau options available.
One standout event is the second annual fireworks show at Wai Kai, a water sports, dining, and entertainment complex in Ewa Beach. On the westside in Ko Olina, a midnight show from the lagoons is not to be missed.

Maui
Maui is offering a spectacular fireworks display from the beachfront of the Grand Wailea resort. While the resort’s guests will have a unique viewing experience, we’ve also provided tips on how to enjoy the evening and catch the fireworks show as a non-guest.

Lanai
Four Seasons Lanai is hosting a midnight fireworks show at their stunning Luau Gardens, exclusively for their guests. For more information on this luxurious celebration, visit their website.
Hawaii’s Big Island
Several hotels on the Big Island are hosting fireworks shows for their guests and patrons. Visit our guide to the Big Island’s New Year’s Eve celebrations for more information and insider tips.
Kauai
While Kauai’s New Year’s Eve celebrations may be a bit more low-key this year, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for any public fireworks displays or events that may be announced. Check back frequently for updates on Kauai’s New Year’s Eve page.
Additions and Updates
We anticipate adding more events and updates to our island guides in the coming weeks, so be sure to check back frequently for the latest information. We’ll also be noting any additions made after December 16th.
