Paia & Haiku Real Estate Market Update 2023

Paia and Haiku are two beachside towns on the north shore of Maui with vastly different real estate markets.

The median price for single family homes in Paia is around $850,000 while it’s even higher at around $1.2 million in Haiku. This disparity is due to a variety of factors including proximity to the ocean, size of lots, and age/construction of homes – all of which make Haiku much more desirable than Paia.

Additionally, there’s a great deal more new construction happening in Haiku compared with Paia which also contributes to higher median prices.

Overall, if you’re interested in buying property on Maui’s north shore then you’ll want to consider both Paia and Haiku as they each offer something unique – but be aware that you will likely pay significantly more for a property in Haiku than one in Paia.
