Honokowai, Kahana and Napili are lined with low- and mid-rise condo buildings, most built in the 1960s and 1970s. Title Guaranty reports this area as Napili, Kahana and Mahinahina.

Parts of this shoreline, especially around Kahana and Honokowai, have chronic beach erosion, and some oceanfront associations have spent heavily on seawalls and sand restoration. Ask about erosion, reserves and special assessments in the association documents.
